Does sealing prevent etching on marble?
No. Traditional sealers are designed to reduce staining, not prevent etching. Acidic substances like lemon juice or wine will still react with calcium-based stone. Preventing etching requires a different type of protection system, such as a professional MORE AntiEtch® treatment.
