What is the meaning behind your name/logo?
Our name embodies three core foundational goals for our company:
God’s Glory:
We wake up every morning passionate about serving our customers, vendors and teammates for God’s glory. We want to use the talents God has given us to make life better for our customers, vendors and teammates.
We fully realize nothing we have achieved in this life is solely because of our own efforts. There are many companies working just as hard as we are who have not been blessed with the success we have experienced. We give God the glory for all our successes and failures – as some of our failures have been the biggest sources of growth in our company and personal lives.
Give Generously:
We want to give back to the community and help others succeed. We define success by how many people we make life better for. We want to give our time, talents and money to helping others achieve their dreams and find success in their lives. While we are not a big company by any means, even small stones when thrown into a pond, can create lasting ripples.
Graham Girls:
When Countertops 101 launched, our founder only had one daughter. Today our founder has 3 daughters, and our teammates have several kids as well.
We want Countertops 101 to be a company that inspires the next generation to achieve their goals.
Some of the greatest skills the next generation will need can be honed working hands on in a business and taking a few punches. Regardless of what you do in life – sales, marketing and operations are fundamentals of success and mastery cannot be obtained by a book alone, they must be experienced.
